A primary care internal medicine practice in Richardson, TX is looking for full time medical scribe.

The purpose of this position is to handle clerical responsibilities for physicians during patient encounters. They accurately document the events and decision-making in a manner that results in appropriate medical charting in the Eclinicalworks (EMR) system. Pre-PA students are welcome to apply. Appropriate candidates will be trained to become medical assistants

Qualifications and skills.

--good knowledge of medical terminology

--strong typing skills

--assist medical providers with prescription refills and patient callbacks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
